No weight – Workout Of The Day No 2
A bodyweight workout of the day is a great way to improve your functional fitness. You don’t need to go to the gym to work out. You don’t need some crazy routine that kills you every day. Or spend lots of money on gym memberships only to never go.
Here is a very simple bodyweight workout that can be done in 10 minutes, at home.
Workout of the day – Bodyweight
- Warmup
10 minutes as many rounds as possible
- 5 x Burpees
- 10 x Squats
- 15 x Pushups
- 20 x Crunches
Stretch – Always remember to stretch at the end of a workout.
This workout is structured to be done just with body weight, and nothing more.
Which makes it perfect for office workers who sit all day long. Or for people who have had a long layoff from regular fitness training.
You can even get some friends and go to the local park and compete against each other. A little friendly competition is a perfect way to amp up your training.
Final Tip
For a warmup just try some sprints, or jogging in place. Remember to stretch before and after the workout.
